This duel has been arranged through the Martial Challenge website. The duel consisted of two longsword bouts, one with steel and one with wood. The location was a neutral location in the Malvern Hills, British Camp. YouTube video of the challenge Bookmark with:

On the Sunday of the 31st May a duel was fought between Michael Thomas (Instructor, Academy of Historical Fencing) and Paul Bennett (Instructor, SG6).

It was certainly very windy at British Camp but the sun was shining and it was a great couple of bouts with some friendly sparring and a pint afterwards. V civilised apart from that steep hill!
